Holga en colour

Standing outside the little French cafe Le Pichet in Belltown, Seattle, I watched as the waitress leaned against the window and talked to people seated at a front table. It still surprises me that this little plastic camera can do so much with what could have been a difficult lighting and focus situation. Everything is sharp and bright ... and the mood reminds me of a foreign city. The blast of leaked light on the right side of the image gives it a nice old-timey feel.

Just found your blog through your flickr photos. I wish you posted more! I love your photos, and the little things you have to say about them.

I wish I posted more, too. Thanks for looking, and commenting, and please come back for more infrequent but entertaining tidbits.
